Obtainium 11 year Blended Whiskey

Sometimes MGP has accidents. Sometimes is also an understatement. Good news is, this is one turned out great. MGP accidentally blended a tank of 36% rye bourbon and 95% rye (bourbon and rye distillate). That blended bourbon and rye was then casked and aged for 11 years when we purchased it. This is a single barrel, barrel proof product. The low cask strength brings out rich oak notes without being overly tannic. Mild spice from the rye with the rich chocolate and tobacco from the bourbon make this a great holiday sipper at an incredible price.
