Over 10 years ago, the rye whiskey and the bourbon whiskey were added to the same barrell (at the same time) as clear spirits.** It's not every day you run into a barrel like this. This barrel was quasi-forgotten about at MGP, until Gene bought the rights to this beautiful dust & dirt covered barrel... and then some other evil whiskey supplier swooped in and temporarily stole the rights from Gene, but Gene used his magical Divorce Attorney powers to legally win the barrel back.
